New project started this week in Walthamstow, East London. The task at hand includes a side return extension, opening up the rear elevation and an overall refurbishment and replacement of the kitchen with a contemporary design. Last but not least - preserving and enhancing the gorgeous lush garden planted and maintained by the homeowner.

Exciting times for our Hackney rear extension and refurbishment project which is only a couple of weeks away from completion. Finishing touches are being applied throughout, deliveries of fittings and fixtures are coming in daily and we’re delighted to be handing over the keys back to our clients and welcoming them in their newly refurbished and enlarged house in the heart of Hackney, a stone’s throw away from the London Fields park. We are also excited to share more information and images in the coming weeks from this refined and understated home full of timeless materials and filled with natural daylight.

Another new project announcement at Architecture Vaidas Vileikis for the strongest start to a year since 2019. This is an impressive end of terrace period property in the borough of Camden, North London which we have been appointed to oversee a thorough refurbishment and extension of. After being used as a rental property for over a decade it is now being brought back into the use of the owner as a substantial family home. We have recently started developing the concept design ideas and are excited to share these in the coming months.
We are excited to announce a new refurbishment and extension project in the sought-after area of Stoke Newington, Hackney. The property is a 2 storey Victorian terrace house that will be undergoing substantial renovation and additions on multiple levels in a contemporary take of a quintessential UK house typology. We’re expecting this to start on-site before the year ends and look forward to unveiling the design in the coming months.
An update on our upcoming project for a full house refurbishment and rear extension in Hackney which is progressing nicely. With all structural works complete, the project is moving into the decoration and fitting out phase and the design is starting to take shape.
Since the turn of the year, the main contractor has been busy platering the internal walls and ceilings and preparing for the decoration in the coming weeks.
One of the most exciting part of the house - the kitchen extension is also moving into advanced stages, as the walls and the openings are getting done as well as receiving its’ stunning polished concrete floor, which we maanged to get a snap of before it’s covered for protection! More updates to follow and looking forward to seeing this one completed in Spring 2023.
We’re excited about the start of yet another project on-site at the end of September. The project to refurbish a mid-terrace Victorian property in the prominent area of London Fields, Hackney will run until spring 2023 and will create a warm contemporary family home with an open-plan kitchen and dining space overlooking the garden. Our exciting roof terrace project in Bethnal Green is gathering pace on site. New steel and timber structure nearly finished and the exciting part of planting and landscape to commence shortly after. We’re thrilled to see this rooftop space finished before the end of the Summer and in time to still enjoy some sun rays this season!
Pleased to have received a Planning Permission from Southwark council for the proposed ground floor and loft extension project in Peckham together with the overall refurbishment and upgrade of this Victorian terrace. Looking forward to starting Technical Design and Tender and bringing this project to life!
Hitting the ground running in 2022 with another high-profile project in the bag! A Victorian mid-terrace house refurbishment and ground floor extension to make the most of a lovely lush garden as well as creating a stunning kitchen and dining space overlooking it. Minutes away from East London icons in London Fields park and Broadway Market this project has got us excited for this year. Planning Application submission is anticipated for February 2022 with construction set to start in mid-2022. More to follow soon.
We’re delighted to have been appointed to oversee a refurbishment and extension of a mid-terrace Victorian house a short walking distance away from Peckham Rye station. The project includes a side return extension on the ground floor, a loft extension on the top floor as well as an overall refurbishment of the house. The design process with a family of young professionals in mind is due to commence in late 2021 with the project going to Planning in early 2022 and construction to begin in mid-2022. More to follow.

We’re pleased to see our carefully crafted new build scheme go in for Pre-Planning advice with the Hammersmith and Fulham council. The scheme proposes a total of 5 new residential units, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms. Ample private amenity space is provided to each flat, as well as cycle storage, full height glazing, multiple aspect daylight and highest quality of materials. The site is located 5 minute walking distance from Parsons Green underground station and is surrounded by busy shops, pubs and restaurants.
We are proud to announce we are officially a RIBA Chartered Practice. We are continuing to build on the ever-growing list of projects and bring quality residential architecture as always with the main professional body for UK architects now behind us.
We are working on concept proposals for a major townhouse refurbishment and extension in Westminster. Early days still, but we are super excited to develop this project further. Proposals include a basement, rear closet wing extension and a double height dining space in a glass box extension. More to follow.
We are pleased to have yet another planning permission granted for the Holland Park project. The permission for roof extension will add a further amenity to the property and will help to create an exemplary home for central London living with a private roof terrace. Our Holland Park project is well and truly underway with additional planning permission granted to add to a previously obtained one. The technical design phase is about to kick off with a view to bringing this project to construction in 2020. Stay tuned for more updates.
We are pleased to announce that a scheme to bring new build residential units to a disused site in a prime Fulham location has gone out to consultation with the local council. We can’t wait to hear back and to hopefully brings this project to a full planning permission and construction!
